[Opinions] Liam or Dylan?

Which do you prefer and why? These are our top two and we are trying to pick one before I'm due in February. I lean a tiny bit towards Dylan, DH loves Liam best.

My preference between the two is definitely Liam. Dylan is not a favourite of mine because I hear it too often and the popularity somewhat ruined it for me.

Liam. I don't like Dylan, it's everywhere and not that great.

I would definately go with Liam, it is much more handsome. Dylan is ugly.

I like Liam either on its own or as a NN for William. I love Dylan...one of my faves! If I had to choose one, I'd definitely go with Dylan, though I like both.

I prefer Liam because Dylan has been done to death in my area. It's not a bad name or anything; I'm just sick of seeing it. What about Liam Dylan as FN MN?

Dylan has had its heyday, I think, so it just seems dated to the 1990s to me. :-/ Liam is very "in" right now, but it still sounds nicer to my ears, and reminds me of the lovely Liam Neeson. :b So Liam gets my vote.

I definitely prefer Liam. But why force a decision now? Why not wait and see "who" your little bundle is? That's what we're doing. :) One may seem much better when looking into that little face. Plus it leaves at least some element of surprise since you already know it's a boy (I'm assuming!).~ EM

I'd say Dylan but both are great, it's a very close call.

Both of them come off as painfully trendy to me, but Liam has an extra helping of disdainful yuppieness to my ears. I'd much rather see Dylan and hope that the parents are fans of dear Bobby Zimmerman.Array

I like the Bobby Zimmermann reference! And yes, I'm a fan although that's not the main reason I like the name. :) My mother is 100% Irish and my grandparents are from Ireland so my choice of Liam isn't completely just following a trend-it's a family name too. :)
