This is a Russian surname, too, meaning "see-gull".

I don't know how to write it down phonetically in English, but it would be something like this:
ch+eye+ka
"cz" is like "ch" in "church"
"aj" is like "eye"
stress the first syllable and you've got a lapwing in Polish.
