[Opinions] Names of some Swedish twins - WDYT?
Very famous sport twins in Sweden:
- Daniel & Henrik
- Sanna & Jenny (Sanna is short for Susanna, Jenny is probably not short for anything)Locally famous twin pairs, all born the same week on the same hospital in the same little town:
- Maria & Anna (a popular twin combination)
- Lovisa & Daniela (Lovisa is the Swedish form of Louisa)
- Erica & Maria (Maria is a very popular name in Sweden)
- Susanna & CarolineOther twins I've read about:
Linus & Linnéa (they look very similar but don't sound so, since the stress is different: LEE-nus & Lih-NEH-ah)
Fanny & Nelly (Fanny is pronounced as "funny")
Julia & Josefine
Kristine & Karoline
Madeleine & Therese
Emma & Lisen
Måns & Klara (Måns is a form of Magnus, the "Å" is pronounced as "AU" in Paul)
Ludwig & Elias
Hugo & Tuva (Tuva is a form of Tova)
Kevin & Robin (both boys; Robin is mostly a male name in Sweden)
Jonathan & Amanda
Lukas & William
Paula & PetraAnd two British twin pairs, Richard & Mike and Joanne & Suzie, met. Richard and Joanne married and had twins Joshua and Oliver.
- She said he made a racial slur!
