I Say: This is my eldest daughter Wendy Kate, she's 4.

You Think: It's so refreshing to meet a Wendy! But Wendy Katherine or Wendy Kathleen would sound better than Wendy Kate, to me. It sounds unfinished.
I Say: These are my twin daughters: Alice Matilda & Maude Antonia, they are 2.
You Say: Oh, they are gorgeous.
You Think: Alice Matilda got lucky. Poor Maude, at least she has a lovely middle name to fall back on.
I Say: This is the newest, my son Owen Hollis.
You Say: How cute! Nice name.
You Think: I really like that name, its very different.
