I was reading a story the other day about a girl named Jessamyn. I've heard this name before, only once or twice. Wdyt? I quite like it but I think it might be one of those names people either love or hate. I adore Jasmine and also French names, and this is my preffered spelling of Jessamine.

The character's middle name was Rose. I know it's a common middle name, but I'd be tempted to use a common mn with an offbeat fn. Besides, Rose has personal meaning.

Jessamyn is a cute name. I knew a girl named Aurora who has a little sister with this name.

I plan to use either Rose, Rosemary or a variant as a mn or fn. I do think Jessamyn is unique enough to have a common mn and also, I think Jessamyn Rosemary is a bit of a mouthful!

Jessamyn is a lovely name! I also like Jessenia & Jasmine : )

Rose is nms, but if it does have personal meaning for you, then go for it.

I find the "-myn" suffex incredibly unattractive and annoying. Can't stand it because it just screams "tryndee". I really love Jessamine, though. It's beautiful, interesting, and spunky.

I generally don't like Rose as a MN because it's such a filler name, even though I do like it individually.

I think Jessamyn is lovely no matter what the spelling. It's the very common Jasmine (one of my guilty pleasures) with a unique twist. Jessamyn Rose is cute. I would say that if Rose has a personal meaning for you, use it, no matter how overdone it is as a mn.

I adore Jessamyn! My fiance's nmae is Jessie, and I've always thought Jessamyn would be a good way to honor him, without using Jessica, which I don't care for. How about Jessamyn Elise?

I think Jessamyn (Jessamine) and Jasmine are both beautiful names.

Though I would not use Rose as the mn, since Jessamyn also is a flower. Too much for me. What about Jessamyn Grace, Jessamyn Ruth, Jessamyn Paige or Jessamyn Claire? And save Rose as fn or mn for another daughter.

If it works for you, it works for you. Personally, I think Jessamine is a lovely name but strongly prefer this spelling. And who cares if Rose is a common mn? It has meaning for you and that's most important.
