[Opinions] Re: Ireland
Does it scream "I'm obsessed with being Irish?" Not exactly, but close. I think it screams either "I really, really love Ireland," or, "I really love the sound of the word 'Ireland' and know nothing about the place Ireland."I'm generally not a fan of place names but think if one is going to use a place name one should have a connection to that place.

IawtcWhat's strange about the name Ireland is that it's often used with the idea of honoring Ireland in some way. But why use the English name for Ireland as a tribute to Ireland? No Irish person would use Ireland as a name. That's what "Erin" is for. So while I can see it's appeal, sound-wise... it's just a strange, strange idea for a name, IMO. I'd keep it as GP.
