This is how we pronounce Amber in Holland! So, if you're Dutch and you want Amber to be pronounced in the English way, you could write it Ember..otherise Amber would be pronounced "Ahm-ber" with "ah" as in "aha" or something..haha

I think it's cute I have wanted to use it for my daughter but it's too close to my name Amber. I have also thought of Emberly Emberlyn. But Ember by itself is great too.
