Came across a relation with the name Diana Mairi. I think it is a nice name and found out that it is an irish version of Mary. But i am just wondering if it is pronounced the same as Mary or Mai-ree or some other way.

Easy answer for you.Click on the name Mari, and the correct pronunication is listed right next ot the name.

I haven't read the other responses you've gotten so I don't know if anyone else has helped you out on the pronunciation. But if not, it's pronounced MAH-ree. It's not the Irish version of Mary, but rather the Scots Gaelic version.Diana Mairi is a very pretty name. :)

I would say its pronounced Mai-REE or MAI-ree
