His real name is Peter René Baumann, but his stage name is DJ BoBo. He's pretty popular in Switzerland and Germany, but as far as I know, almost nobody has heard of him in the U.S.
Anyway, here's his family:

LN: Baumann
DH: Peter René
DW: Nancy
DS: Jamiro René (4)
DD: Kayley Nancy (2 months)

The kids' names aren't Swiss except for René. WDYT? Jamiro is kind of cute, but I don't like the combo Kayley Nancy.

I like Peter and Jamiro. the other names are nms.

when my mom was younger she used to tell guys she wasn't interested in that her name was Nancy. he he.

I've never heard of DJ BoBo. what kind of music does he make?

DJ BoBo sings mostly dance/party songs. They're not bad, but he's definetly not my favorite singer. Wikipedia has an entry about him, if you'd like to see it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJ_Bobo

I think the singer's parents did a better job than he did in the naming department.

I adore the name Peter, and Rene is very chic. Together they make a terrific combination. Nancy is my mother's name, so I'm biased. But I think the world could use more Nancys.

The world could do without names like Kayley. I'm keeping an open mind on Jamiro. It does have a nice sound and if anyone can show me it has history / an ethnic background I'm prepared to like it enough to put it on my long list. But if it's madeup, then no thanks.
