I've been saying it more along the lines of, "fi-DAY-lis" but "fi-DEL-iss" works too. :-)

I came across the name when watching screen credits on a movie. I had to replay it so see if it was for an actor or an actress. It turned out to be a woman's name, but I can see it on either.
