[Opinions] My Irish Roommates
As a lot of you seem to be interested in names of an Irish origin, I thought you might find it interesting to look at a "represtative sample" of 18-20 year olds that I live with in the flat (yes, I have 7 flatmates).Aoife - very common. Pronounced EE-fuh Emma Jane - said togetherMeadhbh - many different spellings, but this is the one she has. Pronounced Mave Padraig - Pronounced PAW-rick also loads of spellings. (mn Eoin. Pronounced as Owen)Nuala - Pronounced NOO-luh PeterRoisin - also very common. Pronounced ROW-sheen (row as in, row your boat)No revelations here, I know. Just thought you might find it (and I cringe to use this word, but I've used interesting twice now) neat.
