Thalia is usualy pronounced same as Talia, which is TALL-EE-a, or sometimes tall-EE-a.Rarely you will also hear Thalia said THAIL-ya.

Thalia =THAL-ee-ah (THAL- is pronounced as Sylvester would prounounce "Suffering Succotash")Theia is not a proper name in Greece. It is an adjective meaning "female godliness" as well as (on a more mundane level) "aunt". It would be pronounced THEE-ah (again, think Sylvester!)

Search for the names first.I know for a fact that you'll get lots of past threads on Xantha and Thalia.
