[Opinions] It's a favorite, but I"m fairly certain that the meaning is incorrect
I asked about it a long time ago on the Facts board. It is very pretty, but it might come acros as a made-up, trendy name wich is too bad. I like it because of a character in a series of books set in Victorian Times.

The meaning is incorrect...Many sources list the name meaning as "lark" because there is a type of lark with that name. The real Greek meaning of Kalandra / Kalandros is "beautiful man" from kallos meaning beautiful/good and andros meaning man (mankind is implied in feminine names like Kalandra, Kassandra, etc.).¡VIVA ESPAÑA!
