I love both names. I think they're elegant and timeless. But I don't like Billy as a nn. I prefer Will or Liam. But I love Maggie and Daisy as nn for Margaret!

William is nice, but rather popular and I dislike Billy. Maragaret is OK; I like the nn Daisy the best. I prefer Meg over Maggie.

For William I prefer Will as a nn. For Margaret I like Maggie or even Molly. Daisy I don't like. I'm not a fan of "flowery" names.

Seeing both names together reminds of a folk song sung by June Tabor (among others probably) that includes 'Sweet William' and 'Lady Margaret'. =) I really love both of the names. William is just so classy and the nickname Billy is cute though I'd use Will myself. Margaret is great too. I love the nickname Daisy for it (my grandmother's name) and Meg and Maggie are quite nice. My favourite nickname for Margaret would have to be Meggie though.

William "Billy" - I love the name William! It's so classy and handsome imo, but the NN Billy almost ruins it for me. It's dnmsaa. My fave NNs are Liam & Will.

Margaret "Meg/Maggie/Daisy" - I think the name Margaret is nice, and my favorite NN is Maggie. Actually, I prefer Maggie all on its own...it's a little nicknamey but that doesn't bother me. Meg is nice, too, and Daisy is cute, but Maggie is definitley my fave :-)

I like William. Billy's not bad but I really dislike Bill. Margaret is ok but I really like Meg and Daisy. Maggie's cute too but I can't shake the 'maggot' association.

Haha, I actually know a sibset of William "Will" and Margaret "Maggie." William's all right. It's classy but a bit of a yawn imo. I don't really care for Billy. I like Margaret and the nns Meg and Daisy. I'm not a big fan of Maggie, though. My favorite Margaret nn is Margie, but I know I'm in the minority there.

I love William nn Billy. I am also very partial to the nn Will...I guess it depends on what suits the individual child. You can't go wrong with William IMO...It is strong, traditional, timeless, classic, ages perfectly.

I love Margaret nn Meg, Maggie or Daisy. I prefer Maggie but like William it would depend on what she looks like.

I like William (not a fan of Billy though but its not bad) I really like Daisy as a full name. :)
