I do like the sound of it, but the spelling just looks like "beat a --". And if the ln or mn is a word name, that would be a definite no-no. :-/ "Hi, I'm Beata Gardener" :b I prefer Beatrice and Beatrix, personally.

I think its cool, with fun rustic religious vibes. I associate Beata with the Beatitudes. I don't think most people will, though, as most people don't come with quite as much catholic schooling as I do. Still, I like.

I love it, but I prefer it pronounced bay-AH-tah, which is how I've always heard it. My favorite combo is Carmen Beata.

I have a Polish Aunt with this name. So I lave it. I think has a lovely sound and I love the nn Bea.

It's kind of cute, but I'd probably misspeak it as Beta or Beat-a (like a slangy "beat her"). Maybe Biata...
