Congrats on your new daughter! She has bright red hair and blue eyes. At birth she weighed 7 lb 8 oz and was 18.2 inches long.
It seems like just yesterday Thibault and I were bringing home Marta. All of a sudden Marta is almost three years old and Tatiana is part of our family. She is absolutly beautiful and looks a lot like her sister although their coloring is very different. Tatiana's bright red hair is a big source of joy to Thibault's father Tim, who has always said redheards are the smartest, no personal bias of course ;)! She has already been visited by her many cousins uncles and aunts on both sides of the family. My brothers, Don, Nico, Angelos and Petros have already begun to speak Greek to her (as they did for Marta) which they claim is to balance out the obviously Irish portion of the girls' heritage.
Marta was moved to a downstairs bedroom so tatiana could have the nursery off of our master bedroom. Marta loves her new room and has no qualms about moving, especially since she got to paint her new room periwinkle, by far her favorite color. We repainted the nursery pale blue, green and purple because we didn't want to find out Tatiana's gender. We think the change from pink to the softer colors has actually been a great improvement as Tatiana has not cried nearly as much as Marta did.
Marta is in preschool, and loves every second of it. Her teachers Miss Sarah and Mr. Jim are great with the kids. She also has developed a puppy dog crush on Mr. Jim, much to her father's dismay. Her best friend is a darling little girl named Felice and they spend as much time as they can with each other.
On top of Tatiana we have another new addiion to the household. Thibault's brother Ronan is coming to stay with us for a while as he and his wife Daphne are having some marital poblems. We are hoping they get back together though, as it is fairly obvious they still love one another. However, I can't complain about the help Ronan has been in keeping Marta content while I take my far and few between naps.
I have returned to teaching piano. I had almost forgotten how much I loved it! I have four new students and three returning ones, so I am keeping busy. Thibault has been offered a promotion at the university and may become a co-professor for some courses in the next term. We have also decided that we may move further into Boston to deal with Thibault's commute, but are still unsure on our final decision.
