I only know one girl named Tamara, and I, and everyone who knows her, pronouces it as Ta-Ma-Ra. I would probably use nn Tara. But my friend's was Tammi

I personally don't really like the name

Tamara is cute, Tammi/Tammie/Tammy isnt
