[Opinions] Truman?
I've been thinking about Truman lately. As a character name, I mean: In a historical fiction set in the Great Depression. What do you all think of it, or what kind of person would a Truman be?

A flamboyant writer, I simple cannot get the image of Truman Capote out of my head.

This makes me think of that one kid from this one stuipd show whose name is Truman. I don't like the name, but the name is a good name for some kid in the great depression.

I was a little disappointed to see someone actually want to use this name. Its not horrible, I mean, there is worse out there, but all I can think of is The Truman Show (a movie I hate).Anyway, for a character though, its acceptable.

I think it's a good enough name, but how historical is your fiction? If it's set anywhere around when Capote lived, I'd rethink the name, as I think he would overshadow a character.
