[Opinions] Moses
My boyfriend and I were discussing names for if in the event we have a child in the future. I told him my two favorite girl names are Mia and Zoe. He said he like Lia better than Mia but my problem with Lia is that it is one letter away from being Lisa which is my name. His problem with Zoe is that he thinks it's a stripper's name, so that name is out too. But he did say for a boy he likes Moses. What do you think of Moses?I kind of like it and I'm suprised he came up with it since all the other names he's come up with have been Fijian and I can't pronounced them properly lol. Some combos....Moses Nathaniel
Moses Michael
Michael Moses (his favorite)

I too love the names Mia, Zoe and Moses! My fiance also loves Mia, he says Zoe is too popular (I have a cousin with the name anyway, so it's out) and he doesn't really like Moses, unfortunatly, because I would use it at the drop of a hat! Moses Nathaniel is my fave combo.

Like Isaac in the post above, I like it, but it's too Biblical for me. It's a nice, strong, name though, and I appreciate it for someone else.Moses Nathaniel is really nice. Moses Michael has a pleasant alliteration, but I'm not a huge fan of Michael since it's always so popular/used too frequently, and I think that since so many of our generation have it as a FN, it's going to become the next generation's boy's filler MN when everyone sticks it there to honor Dad. Not that this is a bad thing, but I just don't love Michael to begin with, and it feels like Lynn or Ann or Garce or Marie or Rose in the MN spot.

As for the religious reference, I believe it's only religious if you mean it to be.It's not my style of name, but it's not bad either.I like Michael Moses, the alliteration throws me off a little, but I think that's part of the appeal. =)

I think it's way too religious, personally.
