[Opinions] Maile
I got this name for a previous post today (sorry, I can remember who, but it was the subject about Mylee and 3 other names). However, I have really been liking the sound of MY-lee for a girl. I really dislike creative names, so when I couldnt find a Mylee or Miley or other alternative spelling in any database, I was losing hope. Someone (again, I am horrible at names) mentioned Maile and a lady they know who pn it as I was looking for (despite a refrence saying it was MY-lay.)Anyway, I really like the sound, and I like that it is an actual name, but I am not sure about the MY-lay pn. Someone mentioned it looked more like MY-lay than MY-lee. I am not one to worry too much about pn or spelling problems - I've grown up with them for my own name as well as family names. Overall - WDYT of Maile pn MY-lee? Do you think people in America will have a hard time picking it up? Any nice combos come to mind?
