DylanI dislike both, but Dylan is slightly better. IMO Liam should only be used as a nn for William

I'm very fond of both, but Dylan is the one I want to use myself, Liam I just like a lot.

Most definately Liam! It's rather cute, but Dylan is terribly ugly.

Liam!!!Dylan is too 90's for me. I immediately think of the character Dylan from Beverly Hills 90210.

I like both Dylan and Liam, but if I had to choose one over the other, I'd go with Dylan. Liam is nice, but I slightly more prefer it as a NN for William.

Liam because I prefer the sound and look of it. It also makes me think of my father's name, William, so I'm biased, lol.

Liam. Dylan is very 1990s-trendy to me.

Dylan its cuter in my opinion

Liam.It also goes well as a nn for William and sounds so much better then Billy or Bill.
I'm simply tired of Dylan these days and don't like it at all.

LiamDylan is so dated and boring. I adore Liam, but prefer it as a nickname for William so he can have options when he's older.

Dylan. While both are ridiculously tryndee-feeling right now, Liam's rejecting-our-roots nouveau-yuppie sheen makes me honestly angry. Plus, Bob Dylan and Dylan Thomas are brilliant namesakes.Array

Dylan, I don't really know why though, they're both good names :)

Liam, as a nn for William. That way, he'll have more options for nn's when he gets older, you know? Also, I just prefer Liam in general.

LiamI love both, but I prefer Liam. I've always loved the "lee" sound in names like Lena, Leah, Leo, etc.

DylanLiam is nice; I just really prefer Dylan, which I love.

I really like both. Here in Australia, Liam is very popular. Dylan has been popular, but I think it may have gone down the list a bit now. I think I'd pick Liam though.

I MUCH prefer Dylan. If I was a boy I was going to be named Dylan. I alson have a cousin named Dillon. There's something about the sound of Liam and the impression I get from the name that doesn't sit right with me. I picture Dylan as a much more down-to-earth, personable kind of guy. Liam just seems more, I don't know, proper?

I prefer Dylan. This is the name of my nephew. And its a name that I always liked. However I do like Liam as well. But if I chose between the two I would choose Dylan :)

DylanWhy? For many reasons, but I'll give you the short version:I know one Dylan (outside of the TV screen), and he is, well, different. But a great guy nonetheless. The meaning - I love the water, and "great sea" is nice in my water-loving opinion. And certainly not least, I LOATHE Liam. I disliked it when I first heard it (as a nn for William) but understood that Will was too popular for the parents to like. But on its own, I detest it even more. There is no appeal to me. Even if I could talk you into using full name William (which I adore) with Liam as a nn, I would prefer simply Dylan.
