[Opinions] Hallie
What do you think of Hallie? Would it be too immature on a grown woman? Thanks in advance!

I like it, I don't think it would be as immature as some names (Mackenzie, Maddisyn).
For a nickname-y first name, I really like it. I prefer it to the trendy Haley, which is much more popular around her. I am partial to it because of a good association, however, so my point of view is definitely biased. The schoolmate I know's name is actually Hilda (family name) and her nn is Hallie. Nowadays people often mispronounce it as Haley, which could be a turnoff.
Seems very nickname-y to me, but I like it much more than most -lee ending names, for some odd reason. I like it WAY more than Haley.
NO, I don't care for it. I like Hailey much better. Hallie sounds somehow hillbilly. Also reminds me of halitosis.
I prefer Hayley :)
Maybe that's why I like it. :b I think I like Hattie better as a nn for it, though.
It's cute, but very forgetable, you know? She'd get lost and mixed in with all the other Hayley/Hailey/Haley's, Callie's, Kayley's, etc. Yes, it may not seem as popular on the charts, but it's concept is used all the time, making the name rather boring to me, I'm afraid.
My initial reaction, actually, was Hallie from The Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan... I'm pretty sure Hallie was the American twin.
It's a nice name, but I'd definitely prefer it as a nickname for Harriet. I don't think Hallie would be too immature either, especially if her real name was Harriet.
