I don't like Ira because it reminds me of ire, as in anger. Slightly obscure word, but it does.
I love May, but I think it's really hard to think of middle names because it always sounds like a sentence (e.g. May Laura do this), so I don't have any suggestions. I think it's easier as a middle name, it goes with anything.
