[Opinions] Catherine!
Right now I am just loving the simplicity and sophistication of this name. What are some nice middle names that would go well with it? Recently, I heard the combo Catherine Rose and fell in love. However, I don't think I would ever use it. What are some other names that have the same "feel" as Rose. If I were to use a family name, I would be left with:Catherine Margaret
Catherine Helen
Catherine Joan
Catherine Marie
Catherine Sylvia / Silvia
Catherine JoyWDYT?

Of your choices, I like Catherine Joy the best. Otherwise, here are some other ideas:Catherine Tess
Catherine Maeve
Catherine Alexis
Catherine Emily
Catherine Willow
Catherine Hope
Catherine Noelle
Catherine Joanne (similar to Joan, but a bit softer sounding)
Catherine Isla

Catherine is NMSAA, but from your middle names I like Helen, Sylvia, and Joan

I like Catherine very much. It's right along the lines of a lot of my favorites. Catherine Rose is a common pairing but is still, I think, quite pretty. Of your combos I like it very much with Margaret and Joan. I'm not big on Helen though I do like Helena and think they'd go very well together. Same with Maria over Marie. I also like:Catherine Elaine
Catherine Patrice
Catherine Greer
Catherine Antonia
Catherine Lydia
Catherine Rosa (obviously close to your combo but Rosa is a bit less expected than Rose)
Catherine Arden
Catherine Leona / Leonie
Catherine Abra
Catherine Dinah
Catherine Miren
Catherine Jane (my cousin's name, actually)
Catherine Iona

Catherine Rose is pretty, but there is the old filler MN issue.I love Catherine, but I had to remove it from my favorites list because I really, really dislike the popularity of Cate / Kate, and I would worry about people automatically shortening it. (This ruined Philip for me, too.)Of yours, I like Catherine Helen because I love Helen to no end, and Catherine Silvia is lovely, too.Stella Catherine / Catherine Stella (Stella Catherine used to be one of my top five. . . it may be having a revival soon.) :)
Catherine Beatrice
Catherine Helena (He-LAY-na)
Catherine Louise
Catherine Clare
Catherine Viola / Violet
Catherine Lily
Catherine Mae
Catherine Iris
Catherine Elise
Catherine Lois
Catherine JaneAny you like?ETA more names

(This ruined Philip for me, too.)Just a note: My name is Catherine, and I've probably only been called Cate/ Kate like 2-3 times my entire life. So it's definitely possible. I kind of agree about Philip, though. I love that name, but I dislike Phil, but unfortunately I have never met a Philip that was not called Phil for short.
