Taylor, who's working on her Master's in English and has been a devout book lover since middle school, was responsible for the Beatrice, the Sawyer, and the Graham Greene. Val and David were named for their grandparents, plus their grandmothers' maiden names. Eight-year-old Evie was in love with the name Serena when Rachel was born, but her parents and older siblings wanted something a bit more practical, so they compromised: Loren was Sarah's best friend in college.
