It is a lovely flower name. I knew a girl named Carissa growing up and I lived on a street named Carissa. There were a lot of Carissa bushes in the neighborhood. We called them the helicopter flowers. Happy memories!

I think it sounds very pretty and princessy, I also like Clarissa

I'm not a huge fan of the -issa names (Marissa, Larissa, Melissa...), but I think the combo Carissa Jane is cute.

Its one girls name that has been tugging at me lately. Its weird, because I do not like a lot of girl names. Anyway, this is one I have recently discovered and would like it if hubby accepted it as well.

Jane is a little dull to me, but overall, its good enough.

My first reaction that it isn't but almost Clarissa.
Looking into the name, I prefer Charis .
I think it sounds nice with Jane, good combo.

I like it a lot, even if it's slightly frilly. I much prefer it to Larissa or Marissa, and I prefer this spelling to Karissa.
Jane is too plain imo, but I understand that you want to honour people, and the combo is good.

I also have loved Clarissa since I was little and my hereo was Melissa Joan Hart in her role of Clarissa in Clarissa know it all.

I really like Carissa (and I also like Karissa). It's different and interesting. It goes well with Jane.

Carissa Jane is so pretty! I really like it! An excellent choice imo. I also like Larissa, but Carissa goes nicer with Jane.

I love Larissa but Carissa does nothing for me. Neither does the combo Carissa Jane (although I love Jane.)
