Maepersonal bias though. I dislike 'y's in names anyways.

May as a name for a person troubles the grammarian in me. "May Isabelle" (for example) sounds like a question. The response being, "May Isabelle do what?" Silly, I know. But that's how my mind works.

MaeMay reminds me of the month and the word. I really dislike word names, or names after the months (even if most come from names of gods and goddess kind of deal).

That's tough. I really like Mae and May, and both have been used in the family. But I think I might ever so slightly prefer May.

May.I don't like the look of a and e right next to each other.

May the proper spelling (I think) Mae cuter. I'd only use for mn

I acutally prefer both because I just love May and Mae. But if I were to choose I would say Mae is more unique compared to May.So I'll say MaeBut I like both :)

Mae at the moment.

May. Mae seems trendy and contrived to me. Oddly enough though, it was my maternal grandmother's name (born 1902). She was Finnish. I'm not sure if that's a Finnish varient or just an odd spelling on her parents' part.

I prefer Mae as a middle name, May as a first name.

That's tough, but I'm gonna go with May since it's the original spelling. I don't mind Mae, though.
