After watching the film Harold and Maud again(great film), I've grown to like this name. WDYT? Any middle names?

Yay...I have been waiting for someone to post about this name. It's a secret favourite of mine. I think it has an irresistible olden day charm, but I am hesitant to ever use it because I am concerned that it will be perceived as dated & an old man's name. For a mn - maybe something more current to rejuvenate the name Harold. I can't think of any at this moment so I am really curious to see what the other posters come up with.:o)

I really dislike it. Its got that old-man feel to it, and I really dislike Harry. I would only suggest a more popular/trendy/classic name as a mn if you did use it to bring it into modern usage. My bias comes from having a friend (Walter Harold) who was named after his grandfathers, but every time he meantions his name, everyone tells him he has an old man's name (he's 23).

I love it for mostly the same reason.Since I have no idea what your other name styles might be, though, I don't know what to pair it with for you.Array
