I have always liked this name but I don't think I would use it because I don't generally like names that end with a long 'e' sound. BUT I do like this one.Keely Evangeline
Keely Sheridan
Keely Ava
Keely Simone
Keely Sloane
Keely Peyton
Keely Nadia
Keely EliseI am assuming you mean it as a girls name! LOL

I also like Keavy. There was a girl band in the late 90s (B*Witched) that was Irish, Scottish? Anyway, two of the girls were sisters and their names were Keavy and Adelle. I like both of those.
Maybe Keely Adelle?

I love this name-it was on our list when I was recently pregnant. I like it spelled Keeley best and like the combo Keely Elizabeth.

I don't really like Keely, but I kind do like Keelin quite a bit.

Very trendy, surnamey, nmsaa...But I could tolerate it on someone else's kid.Just don't screw with the spelling, because that pushes the name from "very trendy" to "tryndee" to me. Keeley is the exception imo, for though it looks ugly and unbalanced to me, and a lot more surnamey, it strikes me as just borderline tryndee, and not full-on tryndee.

I'm not keen on it, mainly because it reminds me of Keely Hawes, who is the current voice of Lara Croft. Since watching Tipping the Velvet, I cannot get the idea of lesbian sex out of my head when playing the lastest Tomb Raider game, which isn't all that great when you're trying to shoot people. ;-) So yeah, I've got a strange and annoying connotation with it. The first "nice" combo that springs to mind is Keely Elizabeth, for some reason.

I really like it! I like Keeley better. And Keagan :]Keagan is a recent obsession of mine that I'm sure will fade soon, just like Isabella, Avery and Julia did.. but I really like it! Keeley is nice, it's not too cutesty I don't think.

THIS IS MY NAME!!!:)Actually, mine is spelled Keeley, but you get the picture. I had a lot of trouble growing up because where I am from (THe cornfields of Illinois) there are no other Keeleys. I find it funny that people think it is trendy for that reason. When I was younger (I am 22, so I am from the Jessica/Jennifer/Ashley/Brittany generation) no one had heard of my name. I got called Kelly all the time. But now that every other little girl is named Kayley or Kylie, I get those all the time. So, in my opinion, I don't really think of my name as in the same tradition as those. And I never knew Keeley was a surname until a couple years ago.So, I guess what I am trying to say is that I like my name, but it gets misspelled all the time (Keely, Keilee, Keyleigh, Keeli, etc), people mess it up all the time (Kelly, Kylie, Kayley, Kelsey, Carrie, Julie), and I get stupid nicknames (Kitty, Kiki, Kiwi). But overall I like it alright. It isn't something I would use for a daughter (I detest the letter K...the trendiest of all letters) but I like that it is my name. I think that because I have an uncommon name I like to research names and want to find something unusual for my children.HTH!!!:)

How do you get Julie....from Keeley? I guess thats like me getting Diana or Diane...umm no, its Dana. I think I had the same problem as you (we're the same age) and people hadnt really heard it all that much...though yours is a lot more uncommon than mine.

Yeah I wondered that too! I mostly get it when I answer the phone at work and say my name quickly, so I think people just hear the lee sound at the end and assume Julie. I actually get it a lot! I know a couple girls named Dana and they both complain that people get their names wrong too! I think people just don't pay attention!

I know what you mean. I'll tell people my name is Holly and they'll think I said Collie, which may be a name (I don't know) but don't most people think of it as a breed of dog? Or do I just look like the child of Lassie devotees? People just don't listen carefully.

It reminds me of the glamour model Keeley Hazell, who is hot and stupid, that annoying combination. I doubt she's made it outside Britain though.Mn ideas ... I imagine it paired with something quite fashionable ...Keeley Gabrielle
Keeley Isabella
Keeley Rhiannon
Keeley AnnabelleBut for some reason I like Keeley Martina.
