I recently got a wolf!
Yes a real black wolf cub, hes sooo cute!
But i can't really think of a good name for him, anyone got any ideas?

Rontu is what Karana called her pet wolf-dog (I can't remember if it was really a wolf or just a wild dog--I've got to reread it, lol) in Island of the Blue Dolphins, and so that's what I would recommend. We pronounced it RAHN-too in my family, though I don't actually know if that's accurate.

that pronounciation is correct.

My family pronounces it "RAHN-too" as well, so I would say it's probably that. (And I think they were wild dogs, perhaps left behind by the Aleuts. I reread it over Christmas break but I wasn't looking out for that.)
