Dear Mom and Dad,
Well, your three beautiful new grandchildren have entered the world. After the triplets were born over three months early, it was doubtful if Ruby was going to make it. She was born very small, she only wieghed four pounds! After a couple of weeks however, it was plain to see that she would be ok. Lance and I were overjoyed! We told Isabel and Majella (who are 7 and 5) they could pick the first names for each of the new children. Isabel chose the name "Rubella" for Ruby. She had no idea it was German Measles! She finally settled for Ruby instead. Majella chose Geoffrey's name, after Toy's "R" Us' mascot, Geoffry the Giraffe. They decided on Patrick's name together, after the starfish on "Spongebob squarpants", a popular children's show right now. We really wish you could be here and look forward to seeing you again!
