Dear Mom and Dad,
We hope this letter finds you well and that you had a nice trip back home. We really enjoyed having you come out and visit. We already miss you both so very much.
Things are as busy as ever around here. And since you've left, we added to the family by one. No, not another baby...at least, not yet...but a fish. The kids really wanted a pet, so Jase and I decided to get them one to start out with. We've named her Pisces, and John, Maggie, and Annie adore watching her swim around in the water.
And speaking of adding to the family, I said "at least not yet" earlier in the letter", but what I actually meant is at least not before another seven months are up. Yes, we're expecting another baby! Jase and I are so thrilled, and like always, these nine months can't go by fast enough. To be honest, I'm a little nervous after what happened with our darling little angel, but deep down I know things will go well and that in just a little while, I'll be holding another beautiful infant in my arms.
John and Maggie are very excited and can't wait to meet their little brother or sister. Annie isn't quite sure what to make of everything; she doesn't understand the whole thing very well. So, we'll see how she adjusts when the time comes, but in the meantime, we'll be getting the nursery ready.
We love you both very much and look forward to seeing you again very soon!
