[Opinions] I adore Sparrow...
in reply to a message by Zaley
...but all of the MN's you suggested aren't flowing right with it. Sparrow Elise? Sparrow Anne? Sparrow Jane (I think this works well as honoring James.) I think a name as out-there as Sparrow needs a simple, classic middle name to even things out. But I LOVE the name Sparrow- if my boyfriend wasn't a straight-laced jerk ;) my daughter would be Meadow, Winter, or Sparrow instead of Lucy. For boys, my personal standouts are Ash, Haze, and Peregrin- especially Ash. I think potheads might find too much amusement in Haze (please tell me that's NOT why you're using it!) and Peregrin really does bring to mind my beloved Pippin, which is both a blessing and a curse. Ash is simple, but it doesn't go well with James, either- Ash Jamison, perhaps? I think that, with James, the fn has to be polysyllablic, which is why I like Peregrin. Falcon is also nice with James... hmm, I like it. Zephyr James is also nice, although, for a boy, I prefer the less Madonna-tainted Sephyr (SEH-fire or SEH-fear.) Zef is an unusual nickname, also.Hope I helped somehow ;) When are you due?

Im not due until the beginning of May (The 7th), so I have time.
I'm just one of those people who has to have the perfect name for EVERYTHING! It took me 3 days to name my fish... Why do you say Zephyr is Madonna-tainted? I do like Sephyr!

Zephyr in the sky at night, I wonder...(m)It's a good song of hers, but I'm not a particular fan, and it would just kill it for me :/ Glad you like Sephyr.
