Danae / Danaë - I love the look of this name, but I'm not sure about the pronunciation. How do you pronunce it? And do you like it?

Ginevra -maybe nn Gin?- I absolutely love this name, wdyt?

At any rate, Danaë is never properly pronounced DAN-ay or dan-AY or anything else like that.

Ginevra is jin-NEV-ra, I believe.

I like both names, but Ginevra might become more popular due to Harry Potter (Ginny Weasley's full fn is Ginevra, not Virginia, as J.K. Rowling herself revealed on her official site).

I knew a girl with the namd Danae and she prounounces it Dah-NAY. Ginevra is VERY pretty I like it alot.

My neighbours have a girl called Danae. They pronunce it Dánae (read in spanish). I think with the rules of this site it would be DU-nu-e. I don't know if it's the correct pronunciation.
I don't really care for it pronunced that way. But I like Ginevra, especially spelled that way.

I love Danae. It's prononced da-na-eh (eh like men, pet...).
Ginevra is nice too!
