[Opinions] Hermione?
What do you all think of Hermione as a mn for a girl? Does it remind one too much of Harry Potter (which I do love, by the way)? Thanks!

Hermione definitely works as a middle name. And whenever I hear it, it does remind me a little bit of Harry Potter, but I had already heard of the name by the time the book came out.

I like it, and it reminds of Harry Potter, but it's not bad at all in my opinion. I love the books.

I hate the Harry Potter movies and books, however I like the girl that plays the character of Hermione. It does automatically remind me of Harry Potter, and I don't particularly like the name

I love it and Harry Potter, although I wouldn't use it now because Harry Potter is so popular.

For now it is *very* HP, but by the time you have kids (because of your age I assume you've got a decade or so) it should be less recognisable. Well, assuming JK decides to actually publish those books she writes... I swear, sometimes it does feel like it will be a decade until book 7... but it won't be! The films we prevent that.I like Hermione. It is definately a neat name, regardless of associations.~ Arcadia
