[Opinions] Alberta / Roberta
I have no idea why... but Alberta and Roberta both appeal to me. Not saying I would ever use them. But when I hear them, I like them. Have you ever heard the song Alberta by Eric Clapton? It's a great tune.So WDYT of these?

Alberta reminds me of the nice little old lady who used to give out tons of candy on Halloween. My cousins and I would arrive at her house and she'd ask who brought us (my mom or my aunt) and when we'd tell her she'd always say, "Oh, tell her to come in," and while Alberta talked to the mom she'd be continuously giving us candy. Some trick-or-treaters would actually ask her to stop because she gave so much candy.I'ev never cared much for Roberta or Robert for that matter. Probably because I don't care for any of the nns associated with it. I knew a Roberta who was called Bert.

I like them, but not with the English pron (al-burt-a, ro-burt-a). I like them when the "e" of "bert" is like in "pet", "men"... like in French :)

I like both names prefer Alberta slightly more over Roberta.

I love RobertaAnd it will make a come back in about 5 or 6 years. (Roberta, Phyllis, Lorraine...that entire generation is dying out now) Alberta I just don't like, and I'm not sure why. I'd actually consider using Roberta, too. Lots of good nicknames available.Siri
