What do you think of this name? Is it better for a boy or a girl? Do you prefer Keren to Kieran? Thanks for your opinions!

I think Seda calls her son (Keraden) Keren as a nickname, so its not too bad. But personally I like Kieran more so. I also agree with the others that it would be confused with Karen.

yes, I do!Keren is my son Keraden's nickname. Contrary to popular belief the name is pronounced like Kiran, not Karen.

Keren's a female nameShort for Keren-Happuch (Kerenhappuch for the hyperlink).Kieran and Keren are completely unrelated names. I sort of like Keren for a girl and Kieran only for a boy.However I prefer the more familiar--but very underused currently--name Karen to Keren. For a girl only, of course.Miranda
