French, from the 1920's:
Amélie Rachel (click Amelie), fille de Michaël (Michael) et de Thérèse (Therese). (AR daughter of M and T). If you parents were very upper class and into fashion, your first name could have been Amy, since America was very fashionable in France before 1929.
Jewish, from Italy:
You would be Emma. At the synagogue, you would be called Emma bat Michael ve Tirzah (E daughter of M and T).
