WDYTo these names? Would you prefer them as FN's or MN's?

Ebony & Briony, lived together in perfect harmony....
Wouldn't sound good as sisters. I like Briony in theory, but don't love the pronunciation.
I can't stand Ebony. Sorry.

Ebony is nmsaa. Briony would be good without the meaning.

Love Ebony...*Aphrodite* (aka Hattie)

I don't like Ebony very much, and prefer Bryony with a y (not an i). I'd use Bryony as a fn, don't know about Ebony. :)

Love Ebony. Hate Bryony. Wouldn't use as a middle name with the y on the end ... :)

NMS I don't see appeal in either name :)

Briony/Bryony comes from a verb meaning to swell. I don't think I'll ever get it out of my head, but it's not completely awful. Ebony is nmsaa

I like Briony but prefer it spelled Bryony. Ebony is nms, but I think it could work as a middle name.

I dont like either and would never use them.

I love Bryony (spelled that way) and would use it as a fn in a heartbeat. Ebony is ok, but I think it would be a better mn.

Sorry, but I don't care for those names.

I personally don't like either for a first or a middle name, although Briony would be much more tolerable than Ebony.
