Ffion?
What do you think of the Welsh form of Fiona, Ffion? How would you pronounce Ffion - like Finn?

I love Fiona, and Finnian, and Finn, and almost every name beggining in Fin-, so I like Ffion, but the double f at the beggining kind of bothers me. I love Fionn, though.

I can't like Ffion. "Fion" means "ass" in French.

Ffion is pronounced FEE-awn. You're probably think of Fionn, which can be pronounced like Finn, though it varies.I love Ffion for a girl. And Finn as well, incidentally :-)

I don't care for it, or Fiona. I don't like the sound of it (it's not pretty or feminine), I usually don't like double initials after one another, like Ffion, Lloyd, and Aaron, for example, and I think it would cause spelling and pronunciation problems. I would pronounce it as Fee-own.

I love Fiona but to me Ffion looks odd, maybe its the two fs, though for someone who is Welsh it might look perfectly normal. I would say it Fi- OHn. Like Fiona but with out the A.
