Shilah
I knew someone who wanted to honor a family member named Shiloh so she named her daughter Shilah.www.freewebs.com/worldlylight

Shilah doesn't really honor Shiloh since it has just the sound in common imo.
Shilah sounds trashy though.

I actually like that name, and I like Shiloh too, they're just so cute! Another variation of the name Shilah is Shyla, but I prefer your spelling better!

I kind of like this, actually. Shiloh strikes me as very masculine, and so a girl named Shilah seems more appropriate than one named Shiloh. The spelling throws me, though. It looks...really, really odd--sort of like a mix of Sheila and Shiloh. I'd do a double-take if I saw it and had to say it. Array

I think it sounds nice, but I wouldn't use it. ·•·Eliza·•·

I'm all for honoring family, and I'm glad they didn't go with Shiloh for a girl. But, I do find Shilah to feel made up, and I would have used it as a middle name.

I would have just named the child Shiloh, which I actually like on a girl, instead of Shilah which doesn't sound like a name to me.
