Bo for a girl!
I love the nn Bo for a girl but I think it would be classier to have a better/longer full name. Any suggestions?

I used to work with a woman named Bo. I always thought her name was kind of cute (she was older like early 60s) but she was a real b----!
I cannot remember what her real name was but I know it was a old fashion name like Bonita or something. Anyway Bo is cute if short for something else.

I love Bronte Charlotte , Roberta Emily and Bonnie Elizabeth are good combinations for Bo.

To me Bo sounds very masculineBut then it is an old Scandinavian male name.I don't find it especially pretty or feminine. So I hope you choose another name as her full name.Personally I like Bonnie, Roberta and Brontë as formal names.

I love Bo as a name for a girl... or boy! I know several boys with the name, Bo for their spellings. And then I know 2 girls with the spelling Beau for one and Boe for the other. The younger girl (3 now) has it Beau and it's her full name. And Boe (my mother's friend) is older and also has her full name Boe.But other names that could make it a nn could be.
Ebony
Bonnet (hate)
Bonnie (hate)
Roberta (hate)

Well I prefer the spelling Beaux for a girl, it looks more complete. I supose you could use it as a nn for Bronwen. thats the only one i can think of. ~~~~Kai~~~~

Well, it's a dog-like name for me, but that's because Bo was a dog that used to live next door. Have you seen Signs? That's Mel Gibson's daughter in the film. "There's a monster outside my room. May I have a drink of water?"Bellona

Bo is a masculine name to me. I've only heard of Bo for the little girl in the movie Signs. But, isn't there a female character named Bo in a soap opera? I do not think the formal name decision should revolve around a nickname.

The only Bo I've ever known...(m)Is a boy a grade below me with a unibrow and a glass eye. I'm afraid I'm not seeing the cute-for-a-girl thing.(It was also used in Signs, though, and that movie frightened the bejeezus out of me--so that's not a thumbs-up point, either.)However, I think that Bo would be a fine nickname, provided the gril could have something nice and feminine to fall back on. I think that Bonnie would be the best of choices, but any name starting with B would work.Array

I think Bo is a great name for a girl. I knew a girl who was named Bo, it was her full name. I think it doesn't need an other name as a full name.I think these names could work as a full name:
Bonita
Bonnie
Bodille
Bodil (I like this one best)
Roberta
Bowie

I agree that Bo is sweet but needs a longer name. A grown woman named Bo really wouldn't work imo. Even just Bonnie could work as the full form._____________________________________________________________________"He (David Gest) looks like he's had a lot of plastic surgery done, but not by a plastic surgeon."Elinor

I agree that it should be a nn, and not a 'full' name. The only names I can think of that it might work for are:
Bobbie
Bonnie
Bonita
Roberta - this is my favorite optionSome more unusual ones:
Boadicea
Bodil
Bogdana
Bohuslava
Bojana
Bolanle
Boleslava
Bopha
Borbala
Borghild
Bosmat
Botum
Boudicca
