Dierks
There is a rather adorable country singer named Dierks Bentley. He is currently replacing Kenny Chesney as "the Country star I will marry one day" since Rene however you spell her last name, stole Kenny from me. So WDYT of the name Dierks? I have heard of Dirk before but never Dierks (which is pronounced like Dirk with and s) ~~~~Kai~~~~

I love his music, but not the name. I was just discussing that with my mum the other day. I didn't know that his first name was Dierks! I thought it was just the anme of the band!

I love his music, he was great in concert, and while driving and listening to his c.d. the other day I was thinking about his name. I don't think it sounds right without his last said along with it. There are so many mean things kids can say about another with a name like that. I just wouldn't like it if someone named their child that.

I think his name is Dierks because that was his mothers maiden name._-_-_-_ Only dead fish go with the flow _-_-_-_

I love his music, but his name I am not so keen on. Different, but I would prefer Dirk...seems like his parents just want to be creative but like Dirk. I dont know...

I don't care for Dirk (reminds me of the word dirt), but Dierks is just awful sounding. It's harsh sounding and reminds me of the word jerks.

I quite like Dierks, actually. It reminds me of country music, and cowboys, and one of my earlier obsessions was with cowboys. ^ ^
(Nowadays I'm onto any name that screams "Fat, Gay man!" Are there any names that actually do that? :-/)
