Reminds me of the old 80's cartoon She-ra. She-ra's secret identity was Princess Adora. I like the name for that reason, but I think it sounds a bit too much like the name of a Disney Princess for a real child.

I like it...(m)I think its very pretty for a little girl. I think I'd probably be more likely to use it as a mn but miss_smiley came up with an excellent combo recently which was Adora Scarlett. I thought that was a beautiful combo.Edited: spelling and clarification

It is nice. I prefer Adorinda because it fits my style more (I like long somewhat fussy names). Adorinda nn Adora would be lovely also. Adora is rather sweet and I could definatly see it on a little girl.

Adora is too "adorable" if you get my drift.

I've started liking it a bit, actually. It's a bit cutesy, but I like the sound as well.

I think Adora could be very sweet with the right mn, but it could also be too sweet with an overly frilly mn.the nn Adi is a plus for me.Luxianaeta: I really like the meaning too.

Maybe I shouldn't have posted that first one...I'm sorry if that wasn't appropriate. Adora would be cute for a little girl (under 5), but I was just trying to imagine a woman in a business suit introducing herself as Adora. Addy, maybe...

It made me chuckle. :)

Addy is a sweet nn.

I wouldn't use it but I dont see anything wrong with it. I do see nn's like "Adorable" and "I Adora you", etc. I would prefer it over Dora.

Just sounds like someone trailed off while saying adorable. For me, it's not a good name. I much prefer Dora or Adara.

Not really.
