Bob
This thought randomly came to me...If you named your child Bob (not a nn) would anyone take you seriously?

When I think of the name Bob, I think of the word 'blob' (or the word 'boob'). I just think the name is as vanilla as it gets, with no oomph or memorability at all.

I'm not a big fan of Bob as a full name; I don't like many B names, and I don't like the abrupt sound. I'm also not keen on nicknames as full names, and Bob has a very informal feel to it that makes it seem rather insubstantial as a full name.At the same time, though, Bob is classic. It's easily recognizable. Everyone can spell and pronounce it. It's not cutesy or childish. I'd rather see a baby Bob than another baby Brayden.

personally I would take a Bob more seriously than an Addison, Peyton, Keshawn or Jaedan.

I don't see why not. How is Bob Kristoffersen less serious than Braiden Jones?Array

I doubt it. Can you see a little baby named Bob? Or a toddler. Haha, see I can't take that seriously, I think of Bob the Builder :)

"I doubt it. Can you see a little baby named Bob? Or a toddler."I don't see what that has to do with it. Babies and toddlers grow up, and will spend most of their lives as adults. It's silly to reject a name just because you can't see it on a little baby. That's what cutesy nicknames are for.
