Máxima
I've taken a fancy to Máxima lately and wondered what you thought of it. It's the name of the Dutch Crown Princess and admittedly, I don't know if I would like it as much, or at all, if it weren't for the fact that Princess Máxima is such an amiable, sweet person. :) Same with Letizia. In fact, what do you think of these "Princess" names:Letizia
Leonor
Sofia
Elena Maria Isabel Dominica
Cristina Federica Victoria Antonia
Mette-Marit
Ingrid Alexandra
Martha-Louise

Royalty or not, I can't say I advocate using 5 or 6 or more names for one child. It's a bit of overkill if you ask me. :b However, I do like these individually....
Leonor
Maria
Isabel
Antonia
Ingrid
Louise
Alice
Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine - this is my favorite, I think
Caroline Louise Marguerite - Nope, this is my favorite :)
Charlotte
Virginia
Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria - this one's nice, too
Ines
Georgina
Nora
Mathilde
Claire Louise
Beatrice
Helena
Astrid
Laura
Beatrix
Anna
Pilar
Cécile
Irene
TheodoraA lot of the same names are repeated, eh? :-/ And Alexia for more than one princess? Yikes.

Re: Repitition: Especially Maria / Marie /Mary. I noticed that even the boys are given the names Maria and Marie.Yeah, as much as I'd love to give my kids five or six of my favourite names, it's so impractical. Two middle names is my limit. Oddly enough, there's a Princess Alexia of Greece who is in her 40s (I thought the names was a more recent invention) and the other isn't even two, yet.I love Madeleine and Caroline's names, too. :)

Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria

I wish I was a princess so much.I could use all of my favorite names in one go and not be looked down upon.Man. I love most of those princess more than anything. Wonderful, wonderful! I still think Maxima is a little extreme though.

Me, too...I heart them all, but I'm especially partial to Princess Mary and Princess Letizia. :)I'd like nothing better than to give my child five names so i could use all the ones that I love, but I don't think there's enough room on the birth certificate. :)

Letizia - I always like this name, plus the Crown Princess of Spain is gorgeous!
Leonor - I don't like the idea of parent and child using the same first letter in names :-(
Sofia - The queen just fits her name - wise and sophisticated
Elena Maria Isabel Dominica - Like the combo
Cristina Federica Victoria Antonia - Like the combo except for Federica
Mette-Marit - ok
Ingrid Alexandra - Like both names and the combo as well! Ingrid is an interesting and excellent choice for a baby born in the 21st century
Martha-Louise - I like Louise, but not quite sure about Martha
Mary Elizabeth - Like the combo
Victoria Ingrid Alice Desiree - Like the combo except for Desiree
Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine - I love it!
Caroline Louise Marguerite - Like Louise and Marguerite, but not Caroline
Stephanie Marie Elisabeth - I like the combo
Alexandra Charlotte Ulrike Maryam Virginia - I like Alexandra and Charlotte but not the rest
Catharina-Amalia Beatrix Carmen Victoria - Like the combo except for Carmen
Alexia Juliana Marcela Laurentien - A great combo!
Ariane Wilhelmina Máxima Ines - Brilliant!
Sophie Elisabeth Marie Gabrielle - I love it!
Marie-Caroline Elisabeth Immaculata - Although I don't like Caroline, Marie-Caroline go well. Not quite sure about Immaculata...
Georgina Maximiliane Tatjana Maria - Don't like the combo :-(
Tatjana Nora Maria - Don't like the combo :-(
Mathilde Marie Christine Ghislaine - so so
Elisabeth Therese Marie Helene - Love the combo!
Claire Louise - Like it

Princess Letizia is gorgeous and she has particularly beautiful children. Her husband's not that bad of a catch, either. ;)I thought Joachim is a male name! Now that's new to me.It is a male name, but it seems the children of Princess Astrid receive the names of their godparents, so some of the girls end up with boy names and the boys with girls names. I believe one of her sons has the middle name Isabelle, after his godmother.
