Like it, but in its full form only. Al just taints it for me. It goes in my King set of George, Louis, Henry, and Charles that I've been enjoying lately.

I love most "old"-sounding names, but Albert sounds really unattractive for some reason IMO. Love Bertie as a nickname, though.

I really like Albert as a whole name, it strikes me very nicely. I'm just not a huge fan of either of the nicknames.

Love it. The world needs more Alberts. Very nostalgic.

I like it. My sister had a friend named Albert a while back and he went by Alb. :)I've also been liking Alfred lately, if that interests you.

Very handsome. I like Al, Alby, Bert, and Bertie as nicknames. :)Array

Very bright, regal name (not just because of the meaning - I really think that). I dislike short form "Al" a whole lot, but Albert - intact with both syllables - is nice.

I love it and would use it. It's in my top 10 (Albert Samuel).
