Callum & Owen ...
WDYT of Callum & Owen for boys?I mostly like Owen for a character in a book, but the sound is growing on me as well and I can't get it out of my head. It is a little more common and popular than I would prefer though.Callum is one that mother mentioned to me out of the blue and said that she liked. I've thought about it in the past and like it as well. Pronounced CAL-um btw. It's also a variant of a family name, Coleman. So WDYT?Also still have Vianne stuck in my head. Didn't get too many replies about it last time, so I thought that I'd throw it in here as well : ) Vianne by itself or as a nickname for Vivianne?

I don't like Owen, it sounds weak to me. I love Callum, it is very handsome. I like Vianne, but only as a nn for Vivianne

I think Owen and Callum are good together, and I like Callums reference to your family. Speaking from a UK perspective, both are wayy too common, but I understand both are not that common in the US though Owen is slowly getting there.Vianne is lovely, and I think it works either as a nn or a full name :)

I love Owen. It's possibly my favourite boys name right now. Callum is nice too, and I think they would be great as names for brothers.Vianne is pretty. I think it could work by itself if you wanted, but if you liked Vivianne too then I'd just use it as a nickname. I prefer Vivien though.

Owen is my son's name :) You could always go for the traditional Welsh spelling (Owain) or Irish (Eoin, a famous children's author has this name spelling) if the modern take isn't quite to taste - I thought of doing so, but my husband and I decided to keep the spelling of the who he was named after.I personally think Callum is more popular than Owen, but that's a UK perception (It's a top 20 over here, while Owen is much farther down the top 100 list). I really like the way it sounds, but there is already one in the family ;)Vianna is a good name by itself, though not one I would use myself.
