WDYT of Sibyl?
I was thinking about this name and wondering what others thought of it.

I obviously love it- it's my 5 month old daughters name =) Her full name is Sibyl Tacita... we call her Sibby (didn't plan to, just kind of evolved)..We picked it because we wanted a name that is uncommon but not unheard of or made up sounding, plus we just both love the way it sounds. We get lots of compliments on it but also some blank stares - probably the same look I try to mask when I'm introduced to yet another Jaylyn ;) so to each their own!

I prefer Sybelle or Sybella. ")

Sibyl is ok. I guess I feel a certain loyalty to it because it was my grandma's name, but I still prefer the Greek form.

I adore this name. It has a nostalgic charm about it that I love. But I hate to see its spelling being confused with the first three letters of Sylvia.

I like it. I'm not head-over-heels in love with it (like Sapphira), but I would certainly consider using it on a DD.
