Jerome
I've never really liked this name, nor any of its variants, until recently. Beats me why I'm suddenly rather fond of it, but I guess I am. Maybe it's because it lends itself to the nickname Jem, which I've loved for a while now.So, WDYTO Jerome? And any combo ideas that spring to mind? Thanks in advance. Sorry this isn't much, but even though it's on my mind right now, I'm still not completely sold on it.

I'm considering using Jerome as a middle name because Hieronymus was my grandfather's surname.

I like it. I just met my first one a few weeks ago at work, and I must say he is quite the character. However, I still like the sound of the name, and the nn Jem is so To Kill A Mockingbird to me (which I love!).

I LOVE the name.It has such an awesome sound and history to it. I personally really like
Jerome Wallace for some reason, don't ask me why. What about Jerome Alexander and Jerome Ellington? (After Duke Ellington).

I love Jerome. What did it for me, actually, was reading The Cage the Animals At Night. I don't know if you've ever read it, but the main character has a bunch of brothers, one of whom is Jerome. Jerome unfortunately has a chronic disease that eventually ends his life, but he was such a brilliant kid. Full of wisdom and insight at such a young age. He won me over immediately. And the meaning is oh so perfect. It has the word 'name' in it. 'Nuff said. ;)Middle names are kind of tough. I've found it's easier to put it as a middle name, but here goes:
Jerome Peter
Jerome Thomas
Jerome Oliver
Jerome Evan
Jerome Patrick
Jerome Nicholas
Jerome Ezra
Jerome Walter
Jerome Lawrence
Jerome Victor
Jerome Vincent
Jerome Edward
Jerome Nathaniel
Jerome Gabriel
Jerome Michael:)
